The meeting is son of an idea born in Colloquium Chemiometricum Mediterraneum held in Ustica in 2003. The major of this meeting participate with a study on environmental pollution of Bagnoli bay near Naples, but one other presentation is on a study on cultural heritage.
Speaking with colleagues is evident the necessity of a Meeting/Congress dedicated to measurements, diagnostics and statistics in Environment and Cultural Heritage fields using also multivariate analysis and chemometry, in those 2 fields (practically already in 2006 none paper in Environment can be published without a statistic paragraph).
